Østbanehallen is a modern food court and an oasis at the centre of Oslo. Although it is the oldest part of Oslo Central Station, it is also the most modern. Reopened in 2015, it has undergone a complete transformation. The food court has a unique atmosphere that brings the outdoors inside. Here passengers can find a range of restaurants with the finest cuisine, small shops, a hotel and the Oslo Visitor Centre. Togservice provides on-board rail food and beverage solutions and related services. Their history goes all the way back to 1918 and the establishment of Norsk Spisevognselskap.
Today, Togservice is responsible for the operation of the Vy and Go-Ahead cafes, as well as coffee and kiosk vending machines. It is their colleagues who passengers meet when they buy something to eat and drink on board Norwegian trains. Togservice aims to positively contribute to the travel experience and help train operators be more competitive through its innovative solutions and operational expertise.
