In the Netherlands we operate some 30 units in two airports and 21 train stations.
Our portfolio includes well-known brands which we operate under franchise, including Starbucks and Jamie’s Deli, as well as our own brand Tastes from the Lowlands.
We’re working with some of the best chefs, such as Jamie Oliver, to provide a wide range of delicious food and beverages to meet the needs of our customers and create bespoke concepts, tailored to specific travel hubs.
Since 1971, Starbucks Coffee Company has been committed to ethically sourcing and roasting high-quality Arabica coffee. Today, with 30,000 retail stores in 78 markets, Starbucks is the premier roaster and retailer of speciality coffee in the world.
SSP and Starbucks joined forces in 2008 and the partnership has continued to go from strength-to-strength, with SSP now operating Starbucks outlets at key travel locations across Europe. These outlets offer passengers the same high standards of service, choice and quality they would expect to find at any high street Starbucks store.
SSP operates 29 Starbucks units at train stations across the Netherlands and at Eindhoven Airport.
Tastes from the Lowlands allows travellers to explore Dutch cuisine. This grand cafe in lounge 3 at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam offers traditional Dutch snacks such as ‘bitterballen’ and ‘broodje kaas’ as well as a selection of wines from the Netherlands.
Thanks to our partnership with celebrity chef Jamie Oliver we are bringing Jamie’s Italian brand to the travel retail sector for the first time, enabling passengers to enjoy the famous chef’s distinctive take on simple but tasty Italian food made using only the finest ingredients.
The relationship has been further strengthened with the addition of Jamie’s Deli to SSP’s line-up. Jamie’s Deli is all about taking grab & go food to the next level, serving up healthy and balanced dishes made from the best ingredients. From hot breakfast items to fresh salads, homemade sandwiches, artisan pizza, cakes, pastries, smoothies and much more, Jamie’s Deli has something for everyone, whether you’re grabbing something to go or eating in. Jamie’s Deli can be found in lounge 3 at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport Schiphol.
