SSP launches second phase of its food and beverage openings at Mactan Cebu International Airport
In 2018, SSP entered the Philippines market at Mactan Cebu International Airport as the exclusive partner of GMCAC, the operator of the Mactan Cebu Corporation, providing great food experiences to travellers in the Philippines' busiest travel hub. SSP operates over 25 units atMactan Cebu International Airport, bringing together some globally known brands, including Burger King, Jollibee, Shakey’s Pizza, and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, in addition to its original brands, Cabin Bar and Ritazza. SSP also operates a food court, Food Avenue, which houses five original concepts – The Bakery, Filipino Delights, Taipei Tea, Lolo Pinoy Lechon de Cebu, and Nippon Ramen. SSP Mactan Cebu strives to offer travellers a delightful and rewarding eating and drinking experience, which caters to all tastes.
Famous for its fantastic food, cheerful services, and joyfully designed space for different occasions, the California-founded Pizza Restaurant, Shakey’s Pizza, is one of the latest additions to SSP Philippines’s brand portfolio. Our chefs serve up the brand’s signature dishes to travellers, including the classic thin-crust pizza and supersized pizza topped with spinach and glazed bacon, truffle four cheese, and roast beef.

Offering travellers delicious, juicy, and crunchy fried chicken since 2019, SSP’s two Jollibee outlets are located at Domestic Arrivals and Pre-Departure area in Terminal 1, Mactan Cebu International Airport. Originally from the Philippines, Jollibee is now one of the most prominent fried-chicken fast-food restaurants in the world. Besides its lip-smacking Chickenjoy, other top picks include Spicy Champ Burger made with juicy beef patty, sriracha mayo dressing, and jalapenos; and the brittle-crips Crisscut Fries that challenges the world’s expectation on french fries.
When it comes to airport bars which can offer both relaxing and social experiences, SSP’s original brand, Cabin Bar at Cebu is a great example. Decorated with minimalist elements in the colour tone of white and gold, Cabin Bar is home to a wide selection of wines, bespoke cocktails, spirits, and nibbles like cod croquettes, mezze, charcuterie, patés, and cheeses. Situated at Terminal 2, Mactan Cebu International Airport, Cabin Bar was recognized as "Asia Pacific Airport Bar of the Year" at the 2019 Airport Food and Beverage (FAB) Awards.
