Patrick joined SSP in March 2022 as Group CEO.

Patrick is a strong and strategic leader with extensive industry knowledge having spent 14 years as CEO at Greencore Group plc, a leading convenience food producer, as well as holding non-executive positions at various F&B companies. Through his executive career, Patrick has demonstrated a strong track record of delivering growth whilst embedding sustainability.

Patrick’s strong focus on colleagues, customers and culture alongside his proven ability to quickly develop strong relationships make him well placed to lead SSP to future success.

Patrick spent 14 years as Group CEO of Greencore Group plc, having joined in 2005 as CFO. Patrick has also held a non-executive director position on Glanbia plc. Prior to Greencore, he worked for nine years at McKinsey & Company in Europe and North America, latterly as Managing Partner for Ireland.

Group CFO

Geert Verellen is the Group CFO. He was appointed in 2025.

Geert has extensive financial and operational experience in international consumer, food and retailing companies. Before joining SSP, Geert held the role of CFO at Maple Leaf Foods, a Toronto Stock Exchange listed multinational food manufacturing company. Prior to that, he was at Walmart Inc, serving as Regional CFO for Canada, Japan & India, and he held multiple senior finance roles at Delhaize Group, a listed Belgian retailer. He started his career as an auditor at PwC.

Kari Daniels

Kari is CEO, UK & Ireland. 

She joined SSP and the Group Executive Committee in January 2023.

Kari has a track record of driving performance in both retail and branded FMCG businesses. She spent more than 20 years at Tesco where she held the role of CEO of Tesco Ireland for four years and spent three years as UK Commercial Director. Prior to Tesco, Kari held marketing and leadership positions at SC Johnson, Wella and Superdrug. Kari is a member of the WiHTL Advisory Board and of the Policy Issues Council at IGD. She also currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Topps Tiles plc.

George Antoniou Chief Officer, Eastern Europe & Middle East 

George has almost 40 years of experience in hospitality, tourism and airport food and beverage. 

George joined SSP in 2001 following the acquisition of Louis Catering and served as Managing Director for the Eastern Europe & Middle East region before being appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2025.

During more than two decades with SSP, George has led the expansion of the business across Eastern Europe & the Middle East, strengthening long term partnerships and driving operational excellence and financial performance.

George is recognised for his collaborative leadership style, his ability to develop high performing multicultural teams and his experience leading businesses across complex international markets.

 

Varun Kapur

Varun Kapur is the is the Managing Director & CEO of TFS

Varun has been a director in TFS since February 1, 2013 and was also a Director of  TFS from July 4, 2009 to December 15, 2011. In his role, Varun has driven the TFS' vision, strategy and operations, steering its rapid expansion across premium airport lounges and travel QSR outlets.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in science from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University, USA. He has experience of over 14 years in the hospitality industry. As the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, he is responsible for overall strategy and management of the business.

Varun attends Group Executive Committee meetings as a regular attendee but is not a formal member.

As CEO of SSP America, George’s remit covers the USA, Canada and South America.

George joined SSP America in 2017, initially as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller, before assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining SSP America, George worked at Compass Group, in both the American and Canadian markets, as well as at Sodexo Canada.

With over two decades of experience in business administration and financial management, George’s expertise spans strategy, financial reporting, treasury, financial controls, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cost management, risk assessment, analysis of new business opportunities, and more. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and certified management accountant (CMA) and holds an MBA in finance from the United States International University Africa.

Satya Menard

Satya joined SSP in September 2024 as CEO of Continental Europe, covering the Nordics, Frabeli, DACH and Spain.

Satya has a 25+-year track record in the service industry, including extensive experience in the food and coffee business across a number of European, South and North American countries. 

Previously, Satya worked as president of the out-of-home division of coffee company JDE Peet’s and prior to this, he was global CEO of Sodexo’s schools and universities division. He also held a number of leadership positions across various Sodexo divisions internationally.

Ann-marie Murphy

Chief People Officer

Ann-Marie is the Chief People Officer.

She joined SSP in February 2024. Prior to SSP, she spent nearly six years at The Gym Group plc, most recently as Chief Operations Officer, where she was overseeing the entire gym estate as well as the People function. She joined The Gym Group in 2018, initially in the role of Director of People and Development and later as Chief People Officer, responsible for setting up the company’s people function, which included designing and delivering strategies for talent, L&D, performance, inclusion and reward. Ann-marie was also an Executive Director and part of the PLC Board.

 

Ann-marie brings a deep and diverse expertise spanning from Human Resources to Operations and Commercial. As SSP’s Chief People Officer, she is responsible for the global People Strategy, leading on our reward strategy, succession planning, talent acquisition and organisation design.

Earlier in her career Ann-marie held the role of Group Human Resources Director at New Look Retailers, where she established the Global HR function and spent 13 years at Tui Travel plc, with a remit covering the UK, North America, France, Spain and Australia.

Mark Rainbow

Group Director of Strategy and Business Services

Mark is the Group Director of Strategy and Business Services.

He is responsible for the Group Strategy and leads the Group Commercial, Brand, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Sustainability teams.

Mark joined SSP 20 years ago, starting in the Group Finance team, and worked on the sale of SSP by Compass Group and the setting up of SSP as a standalone company. He then held a number of leadership roles across SSP markets, including Chief Financial Officer for the UK & Ireland business, Chief Operating Officer for SSP Asia Pacific and Chief Executive Officer for SSP EEME, India, and Latin America.

 Most recently, he was Group Director of Strategic Projects, leading on strategy and M&A for the Group. During that time, he drove and completed multiple M&A projects across the UK, the USA and Australia and advised on key strategic developments for SSP. 

Having started his career with Shell, Mark worked in a variety of companies and industries including FMCG with Diageo and Seagram, as well as telecoms, logistics and market research sectors. He is a qualified accountant and has an MBA from Warwick Business School

Jonathan is CEO of Asia Pacific.

He joined SSP in April 2016 as Group Business Development Director. He moved to Hong Kong in March 2019 as Chief Development Officer, Asia Pacific before taking up his current role in February 2022.

 

Jonathan began his career in commercial development in Sainsbury’s before spending over 10 years in WHSmith in various roles including Business Development Director and General Manager Qatar.

Fiona is the General Counsel and Company Secretary.

She leads the legal, company secretarial and compliance function. She joined SSP in 2011 and has been in her current role since February 2023. Fiona is an experienced solicitor and governance leader with more than 20 years’ international experience advising both listed and private companies across a broad range of sectors. She has significant experience in strategic M&A, joint ventures and corporate governance.

Prior to joining SSP, Fiona held senior corporate finance legal roles at Travers Smith LLP and Herbert Smith Freehills LLP (Sydney). Fiona is the executive sponsor of our recently established Neurodiversity and Disability Network.

Jon Wood

Chief Digital and Technology Officer

Jon is the Chief Digital and Technology Officer, leading SSP’s transformational technology agenda.

He joined SSP Group in June 2024. Prior to joining SSP, Jon spent seven years at Carnival UK plc as Chief Information Officer where he led the digital, technology and transformation agendas. Jon has a wealth of experience leveraging digital and data to drive sustainable growth across international hospitality and leisure businesses including Disneyland Paris, and Merlin Entertainment, where he was Chief Information Officer.

Jon has a strong track record of strengthening capability within Digital & Technology teams, including the transformation of large technology teams and the introduction of new operating models, providing greater clarity of purpose and driving employee engagement.
