The Oak Barrel Irish Pub

Opened in 1999, Helsinki Airport’s Oak Barrel is unofficially known as Finland’s most famous pub. It is loved by the staff, customers and the client. Oak Barrel is one of the landmarks of Helsinki Airport’s restaurant selection. The journey of many begins at The Oak Barrel pub and it has been crowned the most tagged restaurant in the country.

Oak Barrel underwent a major renovation during spring 2023 and opened as gastro pub with increased floor space and own kitchen. The renovation was carried out carefully to honour the original spirit of Oak Barrel. Oak Barrel now offers traditional pub favorites such as fish & chips and premium burgers. There is a wide selection of beers and whiskeys as well as other drinks.

Kaffet Helsinki

Kaffet Helsinki is a café concept inspired by Finnish traditions, craftmanship and nature. Opened in 2022, Kaffet Helsinki is located at one of the best spots in Helsinki Airport, right after the security check. The café offers spectacular views of the apron area and its unique, eye-catching design and warm appearance has been tailored to fit the airport perfectly.

As Finns rank among the world’s top coffee lovers, Kaffet Helsinki celebrates Finnish coffee culture and that means that the delicious home-made cinnamon buns that so many Finns love are on offer too. The food range is created and produced in-house and, in addition to home-made freshly baked sweet pastries, it includes spectacular, open sandwiches once again celebrating Finnish traditions. The grab & go -product selection is comprehensive, offering healthier and sustainable options in every segment.
