
SSP UK wins £110 million contract to operate restaurants at Center Parcs

SSP UK, the Food Travel Experts has completed a deal to take over the operation of eight existing food and beverage operations across all four Center Parcs villages, with an agreement to further develop additional concepts for Woburn, the new Center Parcs location opening in 2013. The entire deal will generate in excess of £110m in sales.
SSP UK which has operated restaurants with the UK’s premier short-breaks holiday company since 2007 will take over and manage the Lagoon Bars at all four parcs, the MADE restaurant offering at three parcs and Cafe Refresh and Lagoon Bar at Whinfell Forest from early September 2011.
The agreement comes as part of Center Parcs’ commitment to improve the guest experience, and will build on the success of a four-year partnership with SSP, which began with the introduction of gastro pub The Forrester’s Inn at Sherwood and Elveden Forest.
