We have brought together talent from across the travel, food and other complementary industries to deliver world-leading operational and business excellence.

In Sweden, we have about 750 employees who look after 30 million guests each year. Our staff includes baristas, bartenders, cold-buffet managers, chefs, lounge hosts, catering staff, waiting staff and shop assistants. Every day of the year – from early in the morning to late at night – they care for our customers with professional pride and dedication. From our general managers to our board directors, our management are some of the most experienced specialists in the business; a truly international team of food travel experts. Not to forget, we have well qualified staff as unit managers, sales persons, baristas, chefs and many others, who deliver the best food experience every day to our guests.


Pia Axelsson HR Director

Pia is HR Director and a member of the management team. She is responsible for HR, learning and development and payroll administration. She has worked for SSP since 2001, most of the time as assistant HR Director. Pia has a BSc in Human Resource Development with a major in Labour law from Lund University. She also has a diploma in Human Resource Management from the Swedish Management Group. Pia has previously worked with HR-issues in the City of Stockholm and the City of Solna.

Lars Edengréen Managing Director

Lars has been Managing Director of SSP Sweden since 2004, with overall responsibility for the company’s business operations and development. He is on the board of directors of SSP Financing Sweden AB, Scandinavian Service Partner AB, SSSP Financing Finland Oy, SSP Finland Oy, SSP Estonia and O'Learys Trademark AB. With degrees in economics and business studies, Lars worked in the hotel industry before joining SSP in 1987. With many years’ experience and a wide range of duties, he knows SSP inside out. He started as operations manager for all SAS staff restaurants and went on to be general manager of SSP’s business activities at Globe Arenas in Stockholm. For several years he was deputy managing director and business area manager for SSP’s sport, events and arena operations.

Raine Englund Director Operations

Raine is Director Operations and part of the management team. His responsibilities include coordinating sales and operational issues for SSP Sweden. Raine joined SSP as staff training manager in 1989 and went on to be HR manager, general manager at Arlanda Airport, and business area manager before becoming director operations in 2006. Raine also has solid professional experience as an army officer.

Björn Lindström Purchasing Manager

Björn Lindström, deputy Purchasing Manager
Björn is deputy Purchasing Manager for SSP Sweden and a member of the management team. He came to SSP in 2001 and has in the past few years been working with purchasing issues together with our former Purchasing Manager. Björn is also our envirnoment coordinator and responsible for our ISO 14001-certification and further development in the environment area.

Helena Ahldén General Manager West

Helena is our General Manager for the Western region and a member of our Management Council. She is responsible for SSP’s business in Gothenburg Central Station, Gothenburg Landvetter Airport and Universeum. She has previously worked for our company during 1997-2006, first as controller and later General Manager for Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.

Helena has international experience from hotell management and has worked as COO for Espresso House. Before returning to SSP she held a position with Milega as consultant in organisation- and management development

Anette Wahlstedt Marketing Director

Anette is Marketing Director and a member of the management team. Her responsibilities include business and concept development as well as internal and external communication. Anette joined SSP in 2008, having previously worked in both specialist and management positions in sales, marketing and business development at the Swedish Co-operative Union, H&M and SAS. Her most recent previous position was as marketing manager for SOS Children’s Villages.

Patricia Wehlén Business Coordinator

Patricia is Business Coordinator and a member of the management team. She coordinates management team activities and various project groups, including SSP’s Booster initiative for internal sales. Patricia takes care of any issues our guests bring to the attention of SSP’s guest ombudsman. She joined SSP in 1983 and has worked in management assistant roles ever since. Patricia has previously worked in airline and travel industry sales.

Mikael Olsson General Manager South and West

Mikael is General Manager of the Southern and Western Region and a member of the management council. His duties as General Manager include responsibility for SSP’s business operations at Malmö Central Station, Malmö Airport,the Swedbank Stadium, Göteborg Central Station, Göteborg-Landvetter Airport and Universeum. He joined SSP in 2001 as restaurant manager for the Jägersro Racetrack. Mikael’s career has included specialist and management positions in the restaurant, logistics, finance, HR and staff training sectors.

Siv Hansson General Manager Northern Region

Siv is General Manager of the Northern Region and a member of the management council. As General Manager, Siv is responsible for all SSP’s operations at Umeå City Airport, Luleå Airport and Kulturens Hus in Luleå. Siv began her SSP career in 2001 as department manager at Luleå Airport, working there until 2005. After trying some new challenges, she was invited to return as general manager in 2006. She has spent most of her working life in the catering sector. She has worked as a waitress, maître d’ and restaurant manager, and has run her own company.

Stefan Sivberg Finance Director

Stefan is the Financial Director and is a member of SSP's management team. He is responsible for the company's accounting and controller functions, point- of-sale and security systems, IT and other business systems as well as other financial follow-up and reporting. He joined SSP in 2010. Before that Stefan worked in various positions. Previously as a controller manager within the service trade and telecommunications business. Stefan has two academic degrees: MSc in Business Administration and BSc in Informatics, both at Lund University.

Ywonne Nordin Stare General Manager Arlanda

Ywonne is General Manager of the Arlanda Region and a member of the management council. Ywonne has overall responsibility for SSP’s operations at Arlanda, SSP Sweden’s biggest region, with 32 restaurants, cafeterias, bars and shops, four lounges, a conference and events department, as well as six production kitchens and a warehouse. She joined SSP in 1987 and her professional roles have included department manager for SAS lounges, manager for lounges and cafeterias, and several years as a union representative. Before Ywonne came to SSP, she had worked in the restaurant industry and in financial administration.

Susanne Wahlberg General Manager Stockholm

Susanne is General Manager of the Stockholm Region and a member of the management council. She has overall responsibility for SSP’s operations at Stockholm Central Station and the Cityterminalen bus station. Susanne joined SSP in 1989 as a hostess at Globe Arenas in Stockholm. She went on to be department manager there, and was subsequently responsible for the VIP boxes, including parties and banquets. Susanne left SSP to take on new challenges as a restaurant manager, but returned to SSP in 2007 to take charge of SSP’s business operations at the Solvalla Racetrack. Susanne was appointed General Manager in September 2008.
