SSP has operated at Dublin for over 25 years, offering passengers a number of leading brands, including Burger King, the real food company, Caffè Ritazza, O’Briens, Café Select, SOHO Coffee Co, Starbucks, Upper Crust and Caviar House & Prunier.

Most recently, the company opened two new units at the airport’s elegant new T2. At the gastro-pub Slaney, choices on the menu include Irish breakfasts of soda farls and oatmeal porridge, or Eggs Benedict. Later in the day, Irish stew, wild mushroom risotto, or steak, Guinness and mushroom pie together with a range of sharing platters, salads and gourmet sandwiches are served.

Slaney has been designed as ‘a club lounge for every passenger’. Imaginative use of a variety of seating-types and lighting means that lone travellers, families, couples and groups will all feel at home. The design features original images of the River Slaney from award-winning Irish landscape photographer Enda Cavanagh and striking contemporary accent pieces including eye-catching chandeliers crafted by internationally renowned Irish fashion designer Louise Kennedy.

The elegant Flutes Champagne and Wine Bar offers passengers the opportunity to start their journey in style. Exclusive yet welcoming, the outlet has been styled in sleek, cool colours which create an environment that has particular appeal for women passengers, but also attracts couples or business travellers looking for an alternative to the business lounge.

Flutes serves a range of Champagnes and wines by the glass or bottle, together with premium bottled beers, quality coffees and selected spirits. The menu features many locally sourced dishes, such as appetising platters of William Carr smoked fish, Irish cheeses, or charcuterie from Gubbeen farm, County Cork, as well as open sandwiches of chicken and avocado, Dublin Bay prawns, and goat’s cheese from local dairy Cooleney. At breakfast time, passengers can enjoy luxury Irish Granola, fresh Danish pastries, or continental-style platters of fresh fruit salad, natural yogurt, Cooleney Brie, Gubbeen cheese, and traditional Irish ham with freshly baked mini croissants.
