    Junction Urban Street Food

When long-standing SSP client Network Rail began a major development project to transform Euston station into a destination in its own right, SSP was the obvious first choice to help it add the extra dimension that would attract those who live and work near the important London hub. Tapping into the ever-rising global popularity of street foods, SSP worked with journalist, broadcaster and street food expert Richard Johnson of British Street Food to bring three of London’s hottest concepts to the newly refurbished station piazza.

Junction Urban Street Food features three on-trend street food stars, capturing all the authenticity of the street in convenient grab and go formats. Big Apple Hot Dogs, inspired by the New York classic, serves award winning dogs that are hand made in London, while independent coffee house Beany Australia serves the highest quality artisan coffee along with seasonal and healthy foods including a fabled home-made banana bread.

  • walter

Zurich is often cited as one of the most stylish airports in the world. Already boasting a substantial share of the airport sector’s most prestigious restaurants and bars, it announced that it wanted to build a new bar that was of an even higher standard.

To help it translate this vision into reality, it worked with SSP to develop a spectacular concept called Walter. With its sumptuous furnishings and casual yet elegant vibe, Walter provides passengers with an exceptionally chic environment in which to relax before their flight.

Decorated in rich tones of slate greys highlighted with warming natural wood, the restaurant is undoubtedly an eye-catching addition to the terminal. Above its central bar, an imposing floating glass wine cabinet created by wine importer and retail partner Riegger creates a striking focal point. This dramatic installation holds over 2,000 bottles and can be used as a platform for a DJ booth or an imaginative venue for a private wine-tasting. Walter’s menu encompasses a selection of Mediterranean-inspired dishes presented with a contemporary spin. These range from small plates and snacks to hearty main courses for those who have the time to linger over a more leisurely meal.
