Inspired by the restaurants of the US, Hippopotamus made its first appearance in Paris in 1968. Today, Hippopotamus serves over 30,000 people every day in over 100 restaurants across France. Specialising in the finest grilled steaks, Hippo also serves a range of salads, fish, and chicken. The newest addition to SSP’s Hippopotamus estate opened at Budapest Airport in March 2011.
