SSP UK Wins additional Center Parcs catering contracts

SSP UK, the food travel experts, has completed a deal on eight existing food and beverage operations across all four Center Parcs villages, with agreements to further develop additional concepts for Woburn, the new Center Parcs location, worth approximately £6m additional annual sales by 2013.


Extending its portfolio with the UK’s premier short-breaks holiday SSP UK’s Air division will take over and manage the Lagoon Bars, the MADE restaurant offering at three parcs and Café Refresh and Lagoon Bar at Whinfell Forest from early September 2011. Next year will see a phased redevelopment programme that will rebrand each outlet, to be completed by the end of 2012.


The agreement comes as part of Center Parcs’ commitment to improve the guest experience, and develop its four year partnership with SSP UK following the introduction of gastro-pub, the Forester’s Inn at Sherwood and Elveden Forest in November 2007.
