Chee Kei

Established in 1994 by Victor Huang, Chee Kei is today the only wanton noodle shop remaining in the prime Causeway Bay area of Hong Kong among decidedly 21st century high-end retail stores.

With five prime locations in Hong Kong and listed by the Michelin Guide in 2010 as a must-visit restaurant, this family-owned brand was a perfect fit for Hong Kong International Airport. Chee Kei elevates the traditional wonton restaurant experience into an unashamedly upmarket affair, providing exceptional food quality and excellent customer service in the most inviting of environments.

At first glance the dishes appear to be a simple one of noodles served in a steaming aromatic hot soup with shrimp wontons (filled buns) and garnished with leafy vegetables. But the craft of making wonton is an art and involves the most skilled handiwork, and at Chee Kei, a dedicated chef makes 1,600 pieces a day by hand.
