Deyu Fan General Manager
Holding both BA and MA from Peking University, Mr. Deyu Fan did his undergraduate and graduate study there from 1982 to 1989. Afterwards, he was working in the travel industry for nearly 5 years in Guangzhou.
In 1994, he went to Switzerland and France to study hotel management. In 1997, he finished the graduate program of the School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University and got the MBA from the Institute of International Hotel Management, Cornell-ESSEC in Paris, France.
In 1997, he came back to China. From that time up to date, he has been working for three companies listed in Europe and Hong Kong, in charge of their businesses in Greater China. His professional expertise mainly is business consulting, hotel investment and management, food and beverage operations and development, etc.
For many years, Mr. Deyu Fan was playing the Chief Operating Officer role in China for a Fortune 500 company, the largest food and services group in the world. For over 4 years, he was one of 150 members of the strategic group globally.
In May 2010, Mr. Deyu Fan joined SSP Shanghai, taking the general manager position. He will be in charge of the business in Shanghai, China for the group.

Sophia Chng Deputy General Manager
Sophia Ch’ng joined SSP Shanghai as Deputy General Manager in February 2008, in charge of all operations issues and local team management. With her 7 years experience in Compass Group located in Kuala Lumpur International Airport Malaysia, she has brought in good SSP standards and spirits to the team. Came from a multinational country, she is able to perform her duties in adapting to different culture in China mainland. Delivering good SSP corporate standard and having faith with the company. Being a witness of growth of SSP Shanghai, she devoted to demonstrate SSP core values to the team. Her rich experience in airport business has brought more values and best practice.

Bob Liu Financial Controller
Bob Liu Joined SSPHK as Financial Controller in 2008 and was transferred to SSP Shanghai in Dec 2009 with same position of overall responsibility for financial and accounting control.
Bob started his career working in various prestigious hotels such as Sheraton HK Hotels & Resorts, Omni Marco Polo Hotel and Ramada Renaissance. Over his 13 years of accounting experience in hotel industry, he has gained solid experience in hotel accounting, effective internal control of hotel operations and was also involved in pre-opening activities. He further enhanced his knowledge of financial management control in mainland China, while he enriched over 10 years of working experience in manufacturing industry.
With his strong accounting background and extensive experience working in mainland China, he leads the Financial Department in Shanghai, develops strategic financial planning, reinforce the effective and efficient financial control system so as to comply with corporate policies and procedures.

Nancy Zeng Human Resources Manager
Nancy Zeng was engaged in personnel administration supervisory at 5 star hotels in Hainan for more than 10 years. She worked as Human Resources Manager in SSP Hainan from year 2003 to 2006. Out of the ratification of SSP Value, she joined SSP Shanghai in October 2009 as the same position. Owning the rich experiences in human resources, she devoted herself at taking human resources management strategy to a success for SSP Shanghai with her team members.

Samuel Lu Senior Operations Manager
Samuel Lu joined SSP in March 2007, when Shanghai Airport only operated one terminal at that time. He has grown with us till now with a total of 20 outlets operating smoothly. From 5 Star Hotel to the famous signature spots in Shanghai- THE BUND, Samuel has dedicated his previous experience in F&B industry in China to SSP Shanghai. His fluent Japanese will never fail to increase sales and well-communicated with international passengers.

Catherine Tong Assistant Marketing Manager
Catherine Tong joined SSP since 2007. With 5 years experience in Shanghai Papa Jones restaurants chain, it helps her to perform even better in SSP. Her accuracy and her speed is unbeatable when reviewing figures and analysis. She has grown up with opportunities to expose to latest brand and broaden her view internally and externally. From T1 to T2 opening, she has contributed her passion and hard work. Her marketing strategies and great sense of customer care has brought SSP Shanghai to another level of brand awareness and exposure.

Jiang Lei Purchasing Manager
Jiang Lei joined SSP Shanghai since year 2008. He has been working in various 5 Star hotels and famous branding manufacturing company in China. Joined as a purchasing clerk 13 years ago in the industries, Jiang has struggled for his carrier and finally reached Purchasing Manager with SSP. With his wide experience in dealing with suppliers and great negotiation skill, he has stabilized the purchase price since he joined SSP, with a principle of “excellent in quality and reasonable in price”, he has managed well the purchasing department with delivering best quality and price for end user. Simultaneously, with his great management skill, he has trained up the team to be work towards target and built up CAN DO attitude! Not just with the suppliers, he has built up food safety which requires lots of follow up and audits. His principle is seeking for a value of “quality, price and safety”!
