SSP has a broad, comprehensive portfolio of our own brands. Our portfolio is constantly developing in order to meet the changing needs of consumers and ensure we can provide the best offering of brands for each client’s location.

Our consumer research feeds directly into our portfolio enabling us to adapt and evolve to meet changes in tastes and trends over time. For example, given recent consumer trends and demand for fresh and healthy food with Fairtrade and organic credentials, we’ve developed the Camden Food Co, and Panopolis brands. Camden Food Co focuses specifically on the Fairtrade and organic space, with its freshly made, low fat, balanced diet approach to its menu, and its focus on biodegradable or recyclable packaging. In May 2007, Camden was named “En-Route Sandwich Retailer of the Year” by the British Sandwich Association. Panopolis sits in the fresh and healthy demand space - specialising in freshly baked artisan bread products with a focus on an authentic, back to basics, simple approach to food.

In many cases, a specialist or a bespoke concept is the best solution for a client’s requirements. At Geneva airport we are opening the Montreux Jazz Café. This unique offering was created in partnership with the Montreux Jazz Festival’s founder Claude Nobs. The Festival is an iconic, non food brand in Switzerland, adapted and incorporated into café form for the airport. The result perfectly captures both consumer trends and our client’s desire for local nuance.

Among these are:

  • Café Deco; a full service unit at Hong Kong airport modelled after the famous restaurant at Hong Kong’s famed tourist destination Victoria Peak.
  • Stockholm; a high-end restaurant in Stockholm’s Central Station, regularly filling to capacity with local people.
  • Le Train Bleu; a beautiful restaurant with Belle-Epoque era interior housed in the protected building of Gare du Lyon in Paris.
  • Hereford Beefstouw; a firm favourite of passengers travelling through Copenhagen airport – it has a ‘sister’ at Hong Kong airport.
  • Center Bar; featuring panoramic views of the aprons at Zurich airport, this has the longest bar in an airport in Europe – and great sushi!
