Andre Slootweg General Manager
Andre started his career in the Transport and Logistics Industry in South Africa, where he was accountable for profitability at Branch level. He then explored opportunities in New Zealand where he managed a fleet of vehicles for a National Carrier as Operations Manager. Following a period of personal reflection on where his career ambitions would lie he moved to the United Kingdom where he joined a market leading fresh food retail business as a trainee manager. Andre progressed in his career to become General Manager, and was based at London Heathrow Airport. In 2007 he moved to Australia and joined a nationally operated Food & Beverage Business managing multiple brands in the Sydney Airport environment here he expanded on his local knowledge and experience. Andre’s move to SSP Australia in 2011 has positioned him to add great value to the business in all aspects from Operations to Finance as well as the future growth of the business.

Shirley Lee Financial Controller
Shirley joined SSP Australia in 2009 as Finance Controller. Originally from Hong Kong, she has for a period of more than 10 years worked in a financial controller capacity for SSP Hong Kong as well as in a regional capacity for SSP Asia Pacific.
With her wealth of experience in the financial field as well as the various SSP systems, she manages the accounting team and drives internal control initiatives to ensure compliance with corporate policies. She manages cost control and month end closing and reporting.

Sophie Pluim Human Resources Manager
Sophie Pluim has joined the business as Human Resources Manager in 2011. After completing a Masters degree in The Netherlands, Sophie worked for 10 years as a Human Resources Professional in various countries and organisations throughout Europe. In 2008 Sophie arrived in Australia to broaden her international experience. In her most recent role within the leisure and tourism industry she increased her local experience by working across all human resources functions. Having had exposure to various industries and international Human Resources strategies, Sophie is in a great position to strengthen the SSP Australia team and build a motivated and efficient workforce.
