
SSP is passionate about food. After 60 years in the food and travel industry we know and appreciate the importance of achieving and maintaining excellent culinary standards.
We have created unique partnerships with top chefs such as Nicolas Le Bec in Lyon, Mikael Karlsen in Sweden, and Giles Dupont in Geneva. Culinary Days or "journee des chefs" are planned throughout the year in France and Sweden with our top chefs and other invitees for creative sessions, presentations from suppliers, and training with external chefs.
Each year in Milan, SSP hosts the World Barista Championship to award the title of the world’s best maker of coffee. Last year’s event was won by Sindy Kamcheong from England. We also have a Food Lab in Paris dedicated to exploring new and exciting ideas to bring to our travel customers. This Lab has an international network of chefs representing SSP’s global presence. We believe in constantly updating and improving our food knowledge and expertise. All this exciting exploration is matched by our rigorous operating standards ensuring every outlet works to the most demanding standards.
